How much more ?

There's water coming from the sky again.

Surely there can't be much more left up there !

Everything is soaking and sodden, the garden -forget it - it's under water for the most part, and the rest is like walking on a sponge.

There won't be any fresh veggies this autumn/winter.  The only things that have done any good is the soft fruit, so I'm thankful for small mercies.

It's said that we Brits are a miserable bunch, well it's not ******* surprising is it with the weather we have to put up with, and it's totally understandable when the sun does make a fleeting appearance, how many folks go a 'bit silly' and strip off to the bare minimum - we're all totally sun-starved.

There's a cookery programme running at the moment, hosted by an Australian lady who cheerfully expounds the joys of preparing food for the 'Barby' !!  Silly woman, doesn't she realise that most British 'Barbys' won't even make it out of the garden shed this year, let alone be lit and used !

Even the rain forests get a break with some sun in between deluges, but not us ! we get all the rain plus grey skies and misery.

Is it too much to ask of the Weather Gods just for one or two days this year to sit in the garden ?  is it ? eh ? eh ?

I'm growing rice outside and webbed feet inside.

Oh well, look on the bright side, think of how much money we are saving on sun creams ?

Where's the wine ............ ?

take care peeps .............
